Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Pay Rates: £ 15.75 – £23.00
Shift Pattern: Waking Nights (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Healthcare Assistant to provide person-centred care for a beautiful baby boy within his home environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his daily life by delivering tailored support that promotes comfort, well-being, and development while supporting his family.
Working closely with the client, his family, and the wider care team, you will play an essential role in ensuring his safety, comfort, and overall well-being always. The role involves providing high-quality care in line with his individual care plan, monitoring his condition, supporting daily routines, and helping to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive home environment where he can thrive. Your compassionate approach and commitment to delivering exceptional care will have a positive impact on both the child and his family.
We are looking for carers with experience in:
· A proven track record of going above and beyond, one of our core values at OneCall24Healthcare, to help clients achieve meaningful social outcomes and make a positive impact on their lives
· Supporting infants, children, or adults with complex medical needs
· Experience with enteral feeding (NG/PEG feeding)
· Airway management including suctioning
· Supporting clients with limited mobility and muscle weakness
· Providing care for clients requiring ventilation or oxygen therapy
· Manual cough assist
All candidates MUST be drivers (Full Uk driver’s license).
